Gummi bears defeat fingerprint sensors | The Register
Saw on the tv3 last night another crap piece of 'news' about USA insisting on biometric data in passports of people from countries including Ireland by 2006. If I remember correctly from previous articles I've read, this is a security measure aimed at weeding out terrorists somehow...
Another one of those 'solutions' that don't address the problem but encroach further on our privacy... not that the USA is to blame for that, I seem to remember it was proposed for the EU anyway...
Anyway, as far as fingerprint data combined with fingerprint scan (as shown on said news article) this article from the Register is interesting!
